A carb that has already been in service for decades has the benefit of being setup long ago, but brand new carbs are going to need an initial setup right out of the box.
An Austin FIAT club member was having trouble with a brand new carburetor on his ’75 Spider. The float level, choke tension, and choke pull down all needed adjusting.
The car is running great now! Watch the video below to see how you can make those adjustments as well. Even though this is for a FIAT Spider, most of the initial setup here is universal.
