This past Saturday was the 18th annual Italian Car Fest. This show has been a favorite of mine for a very long time. I first attended in 2003! I know that math doesn’t add up, but a couple years were skipped in the middle.
This year’s attendance was down from recent years. The organizers stated that registrations were on par, but several people just didn’t show up. The turnout was still impressive. Alfa Romeo, DeTomaso, Ducati, Ferrari, FIAT, Lamborghini, Maserati… and many examples of each! Well, we only had one Lamborghini.
Hosted by the Italian Car Club Of North Texas, the goal of Italian Car Fest is to not only be a party for fellow Italian car enthusiasts, but to also promote Italian cars to the public. This year’s show was a huge success as we had more spectators than ever before!
I want to thank all of the organizers. Italian Car Fest is something I look forward to every year.
