This past weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to drive a 1958 Porsche 356A Speedster for the first time. It was a ride I’ll never forget. Despite the quirky seating position and giant steering wheel, I was very impressed with its competent suspension and vintage charm. This car is a masterpiece of its era.
I also explored the car’s fascinating engineering through its original driver’s manual; a treasure trove of technical details!
The experience was made even better by joining the LoneStar912 group for a scenic drive west of Austin, ending at the Old 290 Brewery.
